The Japanese company Nikon, at the forefront in the fields of photography and optics, presents ViewNX 2, an interesting free program with which to explore, edit and share with ease all your photo and video files.

ViewNX 2 has all the retouching and editing functions you would expect as an average user, like red-eye removal; rotations; brightness, contrast and colour balances; optimal selection of frames; and so on. But it also has more unusual options such as the ability to mark your photos geographically, showing on a world map the place they were taken.

Among the file formats you can use to work with the Nikon ViewNX 2 program are JPEG, TIFF and RAW for photographs, and MPEG1, AVI, MOV and WMV for video.
